Antonio Garza, one of the author's namesakes, and a favorite uncle of my father, married Josefina and together they managed a fine ranch estate. They raised excellent Beefmaster cattle and Spanish goats. Antonio was born on September 3, 1901. They adopted one son from a relative but he died a youth in a tragic boating accident. Antonio passed away in 1989 in Laredo, Texas. Josefina did not pass away until 2006 living to see 100 years!
