Juan Garza grew to adulthood, 21 years, but died in a tragic accident while horseback during a cattle round up on Rancho La Violeta. The actual spot where he fell is known to my cousins who grew up and still live on the ranch. He was buried at the church cemetary at historic Randado, only a few miles from La Violeta. He was never married and had no children. He was born on April 24, 1882 and died in 1913 according to Dorace Goodman.
