Laurentina Garza also known as "Laura" Garza was a twin with Lauro Garza. She, according to Dorace Goodman, married Reymundo Rodriguez but because a widow very young, and raised Thelma by herself. She had a wonderful sense of business and was respectd for her opinons. She was born on January 27, 1907 and died in 1986.
